Those stupid .01/.02 NL games are killing the site. There's hardly any traffic on the netowrk as it is, and now a huge chunk of it is wasted on people playing the .01/.02 games. So long as the total site traffic doesn't quadruple, how is this a profitable business strategy? Mindboggling. I REALLY don't want to go back to FT, but crap like this really tries my patience. Jen, I'm not sure how much of a voice you have in the business decisions of the network, but it doesn't take a genius to see that this is a horrible strategy. If the site's goal is to 'deal in volume' and attract players using the .01/.02 games as a unique value proposition, then they better find another one because cutting profits by 80% just to get people in the door is beyond retarded.

If anything, they should have eliminated the .05/.10 games and kept .10/.25 as the cheapest one on the network since it's now obvious that that's all whatever market segment they're attracting is interested in. This is like first-semester of undergrad business course type stuff, btw.

On a realted note, I'm available for contract work as a business consultant if they're really in the woods.

It has brought in lots of new depositors. All the play money people who are scared to lose their shirt are making deposits for the first time. We still are one of the lowest deposit requirements around at $20 bucks.

Also, traffic will be doubled by Jan, we are merging. And, tournaments and guarantees have never been better. I used to have to take $20 a day from my own pocket to reach the guarantees, we are at about $2 now.

I like the 1-2 cents. It allows people to get their feet wet and have a little fun. My favorite personal cash game is 6 handed .25-.50 or .50-$1 nl. Always a great game.
