Does the sites rating system rate players in tournaments, only cash games or both? I have a hard time believing the site has any rating system.

I don't think tournament players bother to rate players, nor are higher stakes cash grinders likely to. I think good players would realize that ranking players is pointless.

But if you go spend any time at all at a micro euro table, you'll get stars added fast

I have been noticing my stars for a while now, and I don't put a lot of value into them and for the life of me can't figure out how you get them or have them taken away. My stars seem to come and go quickly so I doubt I have THAT many people rating me on a daily basis. I think of a lot of it has to do with cash play and less on tournaments. I know last week while tweaking and working on my PLO game I got a ton of stars while running hot, now this week I have been on a down swing and got a couple taken away, so I think it has a lot to do with winning/losing dollar wise and not so much if you played well.

I went almost a year without getting rated. Then one day I had a star after a tournament. I had a heated exchange of words with a player and believe he was pissed and rated me. A few days later after winning $10 bux in plo8 I had two. So I gained a star which I believe a player rated me higher, because a few days later I lost $50 and my stars stayed at 2. If the sited rated me higher cuz I won ten would it not rate me lower because I lost $50? I still have two to this day. I stay about even playing cash games and win quite often in tournaments, and why I asked the question from above which STILL has not been answered. I am up over 2k playing mtts and bet I could get to 10k and NEVER gain a star. From batgirls post maybe the site only ranks the players on cash games? Or they have nothing as I suspect!! I looked all over the site info areas and couldn't find any info on the supposed sites rating system.
