Doesn't mean much as most posts I read from you. I think its funny the ladies of LP couldn't even have a open team draft. For there feelings may get hurt. But yet feel its Ok to make lame azz nominations like that. Such a double standard!!

I figured they had the closed draft so that you wouldnt get pissed when u got picked last.

I want to respond to some of the comments before closing this thread.

Just so you know. I don't want a drama king, whiner or any award other than poker awards. Attached by my coveted poker crowns. Put them wherever on my profile. But NOT next to my poker winnings!!!! Just saying/

At this time the only award software available to use with our forum is this version that we are using and it does not allow multiple areas to post separate awards to. What ever awards we have now (poker - lp awards) and what ever awards we come up with down the road that will have nothing to do with poker will be displayed in the same location.

That's total bs. If your going to have malicious awards making people feel bad. Using those awards against players that don't have "the go with the flow" attitude you lp ladies desire. Then posting them next to poker awards there proud of. Go ahead and post them by my crowns then. In return don't ever expect a single post from me again. I'll come around. See whats up in my private team area then leave.

Your comment on the "go with the flow attitude you lp ladies desire" is way off the mark. For starters the awards added this year were added by myself and no one else. As the "lp ladies" as you call them (Jen, and the rest of the Mods) all were extremely busy dealing with personal issues outside of this forum and trying to keep up with things on the forum I realized that no one had time to do the awards again for this year so I took it upon myself to do them as I did not want this to disappear in the future. Because it is hard to search for last years old posts and threads I decided to change the awards around and to introduce some new ones and see how the reaction was and how they went over. What ever works will be kept, what ever didn't work may be changed or removed for next years awards. The rest of the Mods and Jen did not see them until I opened them up for everyone. So if you have a problem with an award that members nominated you for and voted for you then the proper way to discuss this is to contact me by member message and explain your concerns about the awards and not out in a forum where you issue a threat to leave if they are displayed with your poker awards.

Yes leader board crowns. Try dedicating one month to playing and try for one. It's not easy to win and take's up 2 nights and one Saturday afternoon each week for the entire month. So having a whiner, village idiot or drama king award next to something you dedicated a month or more of your time on. Depending how many you won and went for. I wouldn't call that something to laugh at. But guess you'd have to be a winner to understand that.

Yes I believe SOME of them are. Just as CC was nominated biggest whiner last year. Simply for speaking up for what he disagreed with. Generally he's right in what he say's. As I feel I was for arguing two issues about poker on the site. The scoring system for team and late registration. I don't find any of the 3 awards I mentioned as nice or lighthearted. I mean that!!! Then to have them forced next to a crown a player dedicated a month to achieve is total bs IMO. Forcing some bs award a player doesn't like next to awards he or she won and are proud of sux.

You mention CC and being nominated biggest whiner last year. Funny thing is as far as I can remember Jen and myself did not receive one complaint from him about being nominated for being biggest whiner or anyone else for that matter over the nominations or of being awarded an award. As I mentioned I added the new awards as a way of getting more interest back towards the awards and by the overall response we got with the amount of nomiations and the amount of votes each award received it looks like the changes went over okay.

As said the awards I added this year to last years can and will change again for next years awards and can be discussed any time but not by having one person come and threaten us that they will not post again. Maybe you should wait and see exactly which awards people won before making threats like this.

As Kyle said, depending on the feedback, new awards will be added and removed so that with each passing years the LPA's can be improved upon.

EZ, you are certainly not taking it in the spirit it was intended, we are all just here to have fun, but if u can not take it with a light heart and insist on blowing another thing out of proportion, then by all means you can decline your award. This is not in response to your childish threat of not posting. We are simply not here to upset people, that is not what LP is about. The awards are a fun way to recognize people and events that occurred during the past year. It is a true shame that every thing has to be such a big deal. As Kyle said, people accepted their awards graciously last year and as an opportunity to make light of themselves. For the most part, the members of this forum are very good sports and understand the intent. You mentioned several times "the girls of LP" and how concerned we were about the sensitivity of some. Thank you for pointing out why it is necessary that we make that extra effort.

I would like to add after this display, there is not a person in this forum who will doubt the authenticity of the vote. You brought your award on yourself and your behavior in here is a perfect example.

On a side note and to throw in a little ass kiss... EZ, I would not change a thing about you. LP would not be the same. Your colorful interpretation of most things shed new light all around and we have a long history.
