Today we have removed the old post thank you hack which allowed you to "thank" someone for a post they added to the forum. There is a change in the forum software coming and a lot of the old hacks we used have to be replaced so I am getting a head start on this.
The new hack that replaced it still allows you to "thank" someone but it also allows you to "like" a post now. I know people will say isn't thanks and likes the same thing. The way I look the difference between thanks and likes is if someone here on the forum is helpful, I might thank them. If they post something funny i might "like" it. So the choice is yours! You can now thank or like but you cannot thank and like the post at the same time.
The thanks and likes buttons can be found right below a post in the forum.
