The movie ends appropriately with Tom Petty's
"I Won't Back Down."

Both parties held that ideal as their mantra, but unfortunately
common sense, fair play and a fundamental search for truth
was bulldozed by fierce adversarial stances which; pandered to
basic and, in my opinion, lower instincts.

In the final analysis, it wasn't about a comprehensive investigation
whether a recount was warranted or not. It simply became a war of egos,
oneupmanship and sticktoitness (are there freakin' words?)

The gloves were off and both sides, the country and the world lost.

Not because George W won, but because a noble system was mishandled,
mangled and mistreated to cause all of us living in democracies to take pause.

Watched it last night. CC's description is dead on.

i thought the film was just good. very wordy and each mistake was beaten to dead-horse levels while the fact that both parties knew beforehand that the whole election was about Fla and OH was kind of glossed over.

it was a easy election to fix.

many now think KHarris' per-election memorandum about felon registration was a premeditated machination to remove legitimate Democratic voters from the registry,10K voters at a time! not bad thinking for the nitwit portrayed in the film really.
