I don't have enough time to respond to the whole post as I have to get to work but I'm sure someone else will but I wanted to quickly comment on her apology. BULLSHIT!!!!

There is no excuse for what she did! She obviously made this crap up because she feared being recognized. My guess is that it wasn't her doing to put the video on youtube, but instead the person recording it! She was also far too calm in what she was doing. If animals are ill, you take them to a vet! I don't know about America but in the UK, there are plenty of charities who will pay for the vet bills if you can show you can't afford it. There are also animal rescue centres that would have taken the puppies on and taken the best course of action. The fact that she threw them in the river, to me, suggests she didn't even bother to try exploring other avenues.

Oh and smiling and going "weeeeee" doesn't do her any favours in convincing people as to her reasons.

Sorry but I wouldn't buy any excuse. It is retarded!

I understand your point. But how do you look upon animal control and management companies for which I worked at? I realize there are humane societies. But we could of filled up EVERY one in three counties in just a few day period kazza. I dealt with people like that girl everyday. They would just call and say they found the puppies. I knew it was total lies. But had to take them anyway. They would be put down in 10 days regardless. Do you realize we got paid by the cities contracting us for putting the animals down? They made $ off the animals death Kazza. Why keep the dogs or cats over the 10 day period? The cities didn't pay for the food. I am not saying I agreed with that. As you know I lost my job over it. But still felt like I was playing god trying to decide if a pup was worth holding on to. If it wasn't a pup it walked up the aisle on Monday's. I am willing to bet in the one year period I worked at this facility. Fifty people if that came there to actually try and adopt a pet. When I was on patrol. If I saw a dog wandering around without a collar or tags I would just keep on driving!! It was a death warrant for ANY animal ending up at our facility without ID tags. I could find the owner with tags. But if someone called in having a stray at there house without tags I had to take it. If nobody called it was dead in 10 days. That's the reality of the situation!!

Only paid you half cuz he didn't ask you? It is owners like that which always amazed me. So he was just going to leave the dog there I am guessing? I could tell so many interesting stories from when I worked there. A few pretty exciting and sometimes scary times trying to take in a dog heavily resisting and even attacking me. Generally most dogs are very friendly. I probably only had to fight with 4 dogs the entire year and a half I worked there. It also gets more expensive every time they catch and give the dog back. There was this nice old man who had the most beautiful husky I have ever seen. It was red and white with one blue and red eye. Huskies are not always the most loyal and love to run. I stopped counting at how many times we were called to pick up his dog. He was paying nearly 200 bux a pop to get him back. Well one guy was always on call after hours or weekends. We had one truck with a police radio and one hand held radio. If we didn't respond to that we would get paged. What pagers?? Yup no cell phones then. lol Well it was after hours and decided I would be nice and take him home. So not to cost the guy 200 bux. But couldn't call him until I got his number from the kennel. I brought him home and tied him up with some rope out back. I left for awhile and came back and NO husky!! Wtf the damn dog even escaped from me. He chewed right through the rope. lol I found him later down the road tied to a stop sign. lol Someone had found him and tied him there. Whew, would of I been in trouble if never got that dog back!! I broke the rules so many times with that job!! As I said it ended up costing me my job. But following all of the rules made me feel so shallow and cruel at times.
