But seriously, I can sorta understand her situation, but to sue someone who pretty much may well have saved her life??? What an ungrateful bitch!! And isn't there a law (Good Samaritan Law) that says that if you see someone in trouble, you are required by the law to help???

I seriously doubt she will win any case she presents to any judge - I just cannot see any person of authority that would shun someone for saving another person's life...and if they do, can you imagine the social backlash??

and dont bet on it... afterall, mcdonalds lost a lawsuit for selling hot coffee.

Well that's obviously a completely different scenario not involving a person living or dying. Although that lawsuit was frivolous, humans as a whole are complete idiots. We need writing in big, bold letters telling us our coffee is hot

It's California style judicial activism. Despite the intent of a recent law passed in California to protect good samaritans, the court ruled that the law only applied to EMT's and other emergency personnel.
