I can see it from the womans side though.. if he had left her in the car and waited for the emergency services she may be able to walk now...

I am still not sure if i would sue.. but if i had children to support then its a whole different story...

^^^yea, thats why I said hmmm. Not sure how I feel. If the woman's insurance company was being sued then I could completely see it as a matter of dollars and cents. The victim is a paraplegic and might not be had the person trying to help have waited. Of course she also might be dead. Suing the individual for helping is wrong, but if there were insurance companies involved I might see the inclination.

this sort of logic drives up the cost of everything and creates needless regulations. why do you think doctors malpractice rates rates are so high?? (costs that are simply passed along) as much as i dislike insurance companies, they are not an endless source of "free" money.

But seriously, I can sorta understand her situation, but to sue someone who pretty much may well have saved her life??? What an ungrateful bitch!! And isn't there a law (Good Samaritan Law) that says that if you see someone in trouble, you are required by the law to help???

I seriously doubt she will win any case she presents to any judge - I just cannot see any person of authority that would shun someone for saving another person's life...and if they do, can you imagine the social backlash??
