Can anyone recommend a good web site for searching US real estate, also is anyone expert enough to let me know what areas offer best yields on holiday rentals.

I was just interested in investment Doug, I realise im a few years premature but just wanted to get a handle on the market for future reference. BTW how come you've got a cup as well as a crown and 5 medals... What's wrong with you?

the cup must be for beer or something, and i like shiny stuff

i don't really know of any website that covers the whole US. i'm guessing the first step would be to identify areas with potential for long term growth. IMO the market in california (most areas anyways) are not going to do much for the next 5 - 10 years. our last housing "bust" was in 1989, and prices stayed flat until 1997. after 9 great years, 2007 and 2008 were brutal. yes, i bought in 1997

even after losing half my equity the past 2 years i'm still +127% so i guess i can live with that!!
