    i disagree with the ban, but a private school (even if run by the catholic church) can admit or not admit as they see fit. enroll the child in another more welcoming private school or in a public school.
    what matters most in life is honesty. it's never wrong to do the right thing.

    I agree Doug, that a private school is a private school for a reason, there are specific rules, but....really, this is teaching Children it's ok to discriminate.
    That's just wrong, anyway you look at it.

    Agreed Doug but then they say 'We are not punishing the child! Also the inference that if thet werent 'open and honest' the Church would turn a blind eye- hypocrites!

    First, I would like to say that I think it's bullshit that they did this. It's unfair to the child.

    However, as it's been said a few other times, this is a Catholic School and they have every right to make their rules. Honestly though, why would the parents WANT their child to go to a school that teaches homosexuality is wrong?? What a conflict you put upon that child!!! I would have thought that the parents would have picked a better fit school for the child in the first place.
