President Barack Obama took another dig at Las Vegas at his New Hampshire town hall Tuesday after similar remarks got him into hot water last year.
Obama said that people should not "blow a bunch of cash in Vegas" during a tough recession. Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman called for Obama to apologize after he made comparable comments last February.
"When times are tough, you tighten your belts," he said at the forum." You don’t go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage. You don’t blow a bunch of cash in Vegas when you’re trying to save for college."
obviously keeping people employed in vegas is low on obama's priority list.

It's not his business what I do with my money. He's already taking more from me, what more does he want? Does he want to me stop eating out so much, too? Just stick to bread and water?

What the hell is he supposed to say? "Hey America... everybody go gamble your kids' college funds in Vegas! Sounds like a tits idea to me!"
Hey now, I am not anti-Obama. I'm anti-bad decisions and anti-stupid statements. That's a stupid statement. Period. He can take his advice and shove it. I know Vegas is pissed off at his statement, and they have every right to be. I share that sentiment.

Mr Obama apologised and during a visit to Nellis Air Force Base outside Las Vegas said that it was good to get out of Washington and “there’s nothing like a quick trip to Vegas in the middle of the week”.
There you go...you doubters. Oh sorry, my mistake, he made that statement last year.
Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer is defending his comment which compared government assistance programs to "feeding stray animals."
Bauer made the comparison during a town hall meeting Friday in Fountain Inn. He was saying poor parents of students who eat
free or reduced-price meals in school cafeterias should be required to attend parent-teacher conferences, or the students should go without.

My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals," Bauer said during a town hall meeting, as the Greenville News reported over the weekend. "You know why? Because they breed. You're facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don't think too much further than that. And so what you've got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don't know any better."
What is your problem Doug? Can't you take a man's word for things. He's said trust me! But oh no it's people like you that have got to question things. Obama said everything will be fine Damion has said all will be fine, so sit back and relax, man. Don't stress yourself
