Obama- great Orator or too reliant on autocue?

I know this is a thread elsewhere but couldn't find it!

President Obama is getting an unwelcome reputation for relying too heavily on the teleprompter. A campaign address in Bristol, Virginia, went badly awry when it malfunctioned. Mr Obama is also using a prompter for White House announcements in a way that no president has previously done. Announcing Kathleen Sebelius, his new choice as Health and Human Services Secretary, Mr Obama handed over declaring “Kathy” – and there was then an awkward silence while the teleprompters were lowered to the floor.

It does not matter to me how well one speaks if one is saying all the wrong things.
