At the very least, we already have troops nearby, I say we send more and invade Russia! Then while we're at it we can invade N. Korea, Iran, and Mexico!

You mean those bases like in Germany? Oh wait, we were asked to stay in Germany and to allow embassies be setup in the US for Germany and have recently shut down all but three bases in Germany that houses hospitals and virtually nothing else. Or the base in Italy right? That ones bad for sure. Oh no wait, Italy asked us to place an air defense there. Forgot about that too.

OK, that's 2 countries. Now what about...
Bulgaria, Greenland, Guam, Japan, S. Korea, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, The U.K., Kuwait, Kosovo, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Djibouti, Cuba, The British Indian Ocean Territory, Bahrain, and Greece?
Would we alow, let's say Cuba, to put a military base in Florida, or Japan to put one in say Seatle? I highly doubt it.
But we're getting off the subject...
We just caught Russia spying on us! What should we do about it? Nothing? Hell, in my book that makes them terrorists, and since they were supported and backed by Russia then we have to take action right?
Hey Mooch I'm not anti-Amrican, far from it but it was a conquered nation that asked you to stay and I think if you research that you still have bases on Japanese terrotries. It's great to be patriotic but don't be blinfolded. They only do that in Guantamano oops isn't that in Cuba?

The spying has gone on for thousands of years, yes, even amongst countries friendly with each other. The only thing that's changed is how fast the information gets to us when someone gets caught.
