Atl east some sonsors actually care about where their money comes from. Good for them. I doubt that this will wind up costing Glenn Beck or Fox News a dime, but seeing the principle upheld provides for a glimmer of hope.

Not everyone wants to subscribe to the NYT so here's a different link to try...
Glenn Beck Loses Advertisers After Calling Obama Racist

Funny how "FAUX NEWS" called for the boycott of the Dixie Chicks when all they said was that they were "ashamed" that Bush came from the same state as them. Yet does nothing to one of their own when President Obama is called a rascist. "Fair and balanced" my ass!

honestly, it's going to get pretty hard finding a spot where the host never offends anyone.

and i don't think it has as much to do with principal as it does giving in to pressure from interests groups. seriously, Beck stated his opinion about the president...not a racial group. where was the outrage and ad pulling when lefty hosts were calling Bush a nazi and worse??

and how many ads were pulled over the smear attack directed at Sarah Palin??

what really makes this hilarious is that anyone opposing Obama has been painted as being a racist since long before the election. oppose obamacare?? you are a racist. voted for hillary or mccain, racist. called out obama on anything...racist.

white guy says Obama is the racist, the shit hits the fan.

It is pretty funny how Kanye West went on simulcasted national television and clearly proclaimed, "George Bush doesn't care about black people!" and everybody 1) agreed and 2) said "That's our Kanye!" with bemused resignation. Double standards are boss.

I think that Glenn Beck could have chosen some better words to get his idea across if he were bent on doing it. "Deep-seeded hatred" is a pretty big matzah ball to throw out there.

i 100% agree that beck could have expressed his opinion in a much less sensational way...but hey, this is glen beck we are talking about, people love him or hate him because he is unfiltered and emotional.

Well the count is up to 20 now.

    Including Wal-Mart!

I personally think that "ALL" of the sponsors of "Faux News" should be boycotted until they pull their ads. To bad I'm still not in a union, and can bring that up.

Wow. Once he loses Wal-Mart we are talking about a serious loss of cash. I also love that Glenn Beck has become too racist for friggin' Wal-Mart, the most racist corporation in country! I think they hold the all-time US record for lowest minority manager/employee ratio.

I guess that Cash For Gold will always be a solid Glenn Beck sponsor... their demos match up absolutely perfectly! If you're enough of a reactionary to love Glenn Beck, you've probably also been hoarding gold in your basement in preparation for the demise of the western economic system now that those filthy socialists have their paws all over it. Gun and ammo retailers should also do well with his crowd. Throw in a Snuggie or two, and we could totally fund the program.

I should also make my pitch for the GoldenGunBible, a product I've been developing. Sponsorship of Glenn Beck was a huge part of the business plan.

The GoldenGunBible is a standard King James Bible printed on donut-shaped paper so that it easily fits around the barrel of most large caliber handguns or shotguns. The clamps that affix the Bible to the gun are made of gold, so you can hoard gold while firing your gun and pounding your Bible. It even comes with an airproof case perfect for burial in your own backyard.

Careful what you ask for. I remember Pizza hut dropping Rush, after a small group of protester's got bent out of shape over the commericals. Then, it backfired on Pizza hut, as all the "ditto'heads" quit going to pizza hut. really hurt business for months and months.

Fox News is a Power House. You can bitch, or say what ever you wish about Fox News, but you cant take away they have by far the highest ratings, and viewers of any news channel.
