I've heard of this Facebook and Twitter thingy. Eventually I'll have to look into it.

That would create a fake online social life, then there's the whole fake online friends thing, and when you add twitter, all of sudden everyone that's too lazy to even ask how you're doing knows every infinitesimal part of your private life. I'm not interesting enough for that.
Besides, don't people just use twitter to brag about how many times they go to the gym? I wonder if they've ever done a study about how many times people lie about going to work out on Twitter? My guess is 40%.
