As I tell you time after time Cynth I nearly always copy from UK newspapers normally the Times. ps Where did you get the idea that Obama bowed to the Queen as he bowed to his Saudi paymaster? you definitely didn't watch it on youtube and I've not found one person claiming the bows were similar (apart from your comment). You haven't quoted source.
Sigh. Telling me that you use various UK newspapers is not the same as citing your source. Why don't you just give the link so one can see the quote in context? And I didn't cite a source about my comment about Obama and the Queen because it was my comment and not a quote. That he gave her a deferential bow of the head is common knowledge.

He (Obama)was clearly shocked by the economic disparity he saw in Pakistan. He couldn’t get over the sight of rural peasants bowing to the wealthy landowners they worked for as they passed,” says Margot Mifflin, who makes a brief appearance in Obama’s memoir.

How many of those do you actually still remember? Are we still at war with Mexico, Spain and Japan over these actions?

I believe that by "We will never forget", were better off honoring those that parished by "not forgetting" them, rather than "not forgetting" the ones responsible. IMO if you remember those responsible more than you remember the victims, you're doing the victims a terrible disservice.

Here's a thought... It's time to start healing. Doesn't most religions say that the best way to heal is through forgiveness?

I'm not suggesting we "forgive and forget", I'm just saying that the way we've done thing since 9/11 hasn't worked, and it's time to start trying different options.
Sorry, Frank. No Sale. Not THOSEoptions!

So you think then that the Saudi King is trustworthy enough to enter into diplomatic discussions? You think he is a "man of his word?" You believe he is a fair and just king? (Game show buzzer going off) NOT! Cowering to what I consider a criminal is not my definition of healing. IMO the best way to remember those that lost their lives is to bring to justice the disgusting vermin that perpetrated the act, and the Saudi King is one of them!
