The crackdown on 'internet poker' is simply another political payoff from casino owners in Las Vegas. These casino's don't want to lose any money by competition and have paid lobbyist and politicians huge amounts of money to 'ban' internet gambling or any form of gambling that directly competes with Las Vegas. This type of market manipulation by companies who can afford to pay is very common in America.
