Black Friday shopping ugg. I don't quite get it. First.. you stand in a line that is at least a mile long... then you finally get in to the store and taaaa daaaa guess what? Yep another line... this one is not quite so long but does not move nearly as fast..... then a few hours later you actually get to see a sales associate who gives you a lil piece of paper and sends you off to... yep you guessed it.. Stand in another line to check out....
What I really want to know is what sick SOB came up with this little process? I have a bit better of an understanding of Black Friday Violence though. I stood in line with some pretty scary peeps let me tell you.*
First there was the man from Hawaii who really seemed to enjoy this madness it was like his social event of the year?? Then, of course there was the highly organized family !! Mom stood in line with us while dad ran all about the store picking up the deals on their well put together to do list. Of course, I won't soon forget the scary bearded fella whom we stood in the check out line with. Lets just say different doesn't begin to define this gent ! We discussed everything from using a wine cooler for beer too.. big hair bands of the 80's.
I have to say at the end of the day we got some really great deals but all in all it mostly just left me scratching my head wondering Why do people do this year after year ?
