..me clean!!!! and feeling great!!! going job hunting today!!

i'm not sure if i mentioned that i had found a lawyer to take me....well that fell thru when he asked for a $2500 retainer..me say get bent!! when i went to court 3 weeks ago i had applied for public defender..got denied on account my bond was too high. well, i went back friday (april 4th) the judge was only willing to give me 2 weeks to come up with the money for the lawyer...uh yeah..not gonna happen. soooo...i waited there 4 hours after seeing the judge to talk to the public defender and basically ...

and...about my court thingy....i got a lawyer, and got it postponed again. i am assuming the next court date is gonna just be to set an arraignment date. hopefully my lawyer can go for me so i am not making the trip every 3 or 4 weeks. we will see....

i am updating my ugly secret in here.....i am officially on day 7 of no methadone. and feeling great about it....feeling pretty good physically too. thanks to michelle's suggestion of going down to 5 mgs a day instead of the 10 every other day. i am actually amazed that i feel so good. and i am soo proud of me! i haven't spent a single day in bed, which i expected to spend a week in bed. i mean don't get me wrong, i haven't got a whole lot of energy. but. i am alive and up and about, almost feeling ...
