  1. Tavern Poker

    by , 05-30-2008 at 03:00 AM
As everyone has seen, Tavern Poker is getting to be a big thing in the US. Since live events are usually frowned upon because "gaming" is still illegal in most of the U.S., so Tavern Poker (Stars and Bars, etc) was born like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. One of the tavern poker companies found a legal loophole and can offer a cash payout because there is no money involved. Weird, huh? So, anyway, I decide to hit up this game in my area (Prince, call em and I can tell you where. ...
  2. When Play Chips Become Something More.

  4. From $0 to $100...

    by , 05-06-2008 at 11:13 AM
As some of you know, I posted a while back about, before my self-imposed hiatus, about the viability of going from $0 in your account, starting from scratch, and working your way up to $100. Well, I achieved that goal on January 17th, and it was an awesome feeling. A sense of accomplishment.

I then had such a bad beat playing Razz (Yes, Razz) and a monster suckout playing in an over limit cash game I should not have been in that I stopped playing poker for about 2 months (except ...
