So, I get a phone call yesterday and "my sometimes I claim him, but not so much" husband says to me: "Did you fix my laptop yet?" I say, "No, but I have a disk on it's way and I'm hoping it will work." He says: "Don't bother, I just bought a new Macbook" I say, "WHAT??? Are you fucking kidding me??? Why would you do that? You don't NEED a new laptop, I do, how much did you pay for that?"


He replies,"Eleven hundred something."



So, with a voice drippin' honey, I say, "Hey, tell me if this sounds like a phone hanging up on you." Click.

He's now unclaimed until further notice.


And I guess the broken one has become mine. Crossing my fingers that the boot disk works.

    haven't heard from him since I hung up on his ass... I got the disk today and as soon as the battery is finished charging I'm going to give it a try. thanks for that btw!

    Once you go Mac, u never go back.... Hey Raycie - I have a program you can run LP on thru mac. Use the hubby's computer.

    hell, ya coulda got 3 Dell lap tops for that price!

    And 3 times the crashes.

    The new Mac user didn't know all she needs do with hubby's computer is turn it off and restart it. Or rebuild the desktop.

    7 yr mac owner without a crash .. and CJ this HP mini has been back to Verizon 2 times now. Last time I got a new one .. Cause; the anti virus didn't protect.
