Well, the stretch run is on, 4 weeks to go and everyone wants points to get some of that jackpot at the end of December! With last week's big win, I moved into 5th place with 27 and am hoping for more tonight. At the end of this post, I'll list the top 5...

15 players tonight, and really no bad players, strong group. Chips are passed back and forth and only a couple all ins, my qq holds against aq suited and ak vs. ak for 2 others split. It's an unusually loud night tonight, the host who barely ever drinks is basically fucked up before the game starts and entertains the rest of us for the next few hours by telling stories about his beloved Cardinals who just wrapped up the NFC West title Sunday. He even shows us a Cardinal tattoo on his shoulder, gay. Very gay. But oh well...

When the final 9 begin, we're all even in chips. A few hands in and we're down to 8, then I take down a huge pot when a loose player calls every bet to the river but misses his straight and flush draws. Nice! Next hand he pushes with k7 and is called by AJ, jack on the flop and he's gone. Down to 7...

A couple more players basically blind out with no spectacular finish and down to 5.

I get pocket eights and raise to about 4x, one caller, then an all in by short stack. I reraise all in and caller folds. Other players shows AK and the eights hold. Here we go...

Last female at table goes out in 4th after letting her huge stack dwindle horribly, bad playing for the most part.

I get low on chips 3 handed after looking down at 25, 24, 35, and 37. Finally go all in blind for my last 1300, both blinds call, and my j6 holds up. lol

Next hand is A8, all in vs. qj and first card out is q, I'm done in 3rd but 3 more points and my money back. Rah rah.

So with 4 games left the points are currently:

1st - 60
2nd - 48
3rd - 37
4th - 34
Me - 30
