WSOP Blog #7 Yesterday was our last tournament at The Rio. In a very generous gesture RC decided to stake me in the 1 pm $200 Deepstack. Yesterday’s field was the largest to date with RC, Frenchy and myself competing against 717 other players for a top prize of $24k. After six hours of grinding I was short stacked and made a move in late position with 55. Unfortunately I found AA waiting for me and I was eliminated. RC and Frenchy made it to the dinner break at 8 pm but both made ...
WSOP Blog #6 Another big day for LP & friends here in Vegas. All of the WSOP players plus Jen & Lin went out to the Sahara last night for a little poker fun. In the 9 pm tournament both Dad and Frenchy finished in the top-3 and chopped the prize fund for $840 each. As for me, I’m mean according to Jen so I guess I can chalk my KK vs AA hand up to karma. Yesterday was intense. After I busted out I quietly made my way back to The Orleans to work on blog #3 and play some blackjack. ...
