"Substitute Manager's event notes and trip report. JLG subbing for DJ (DJ's still in Japan).

Took George with me. Picked up Shay in the car at 10 am. I drove the 75 miles.

Saturday October 11 2008 NB under Club. Real submission match 30 minutes or first submission.

Shay's preliminary match. Match #1 on card. 1:00 pm (ET) Shay vrs Anna (female v female match). Shay (a 34. h 5'10-1/2". w 144 lbs. ). Anna (a 29. h 5'7"w 151 lbs). Chippy was referee.

Small crowd. Mixed ages mostly men but some women. No incidents worth mentioning during Shay's match. Somebody threw a soda at her afterwards.

Shay never wrestled this woman before. (I saw her before. She came in undefeated 12-0 all against other women, but didn't look that good to me. She won a 30 minute decision against a girl that knew pretty much nothing. The other girls that I know of that she beat - maybe 3 - all suck elephant dick.) They came out to their music. Anna rushed right at Shay. Big mistake. Shay slightly side stepped and took Anna down by tripping her and then pulling her leg out from under her. Anna went down on her back fast. Shay clamped on a leg lock almost right away. Anna yelled and gave up. Shay won in less than 10 seconds. Shay saw it and let go right away. Chippy never had to do anything. Couldn't ask for an easier win than that. The crowd booed both girls as they left. Shay was hit on the back of the shoulder with a flying soda cup and soda as she walked out. Got her hair wet too. I didn't see who threw it. She didn't either. Why throw soda at Shay? All she did was win. Maybe he bet on Anna. The cocksucker. I was going to go back out there with George and try to figure it out but Shay said to forget it. George looked mad and she was giggling about it. She doesn't seem to care so fuck it I guess. You know how Shay is.

No injuries that I know of. I saw Anna walk afterwards and she looked okay and was just pissed off.

No private matches here. Shay said she has two at home next week. George will handle those and Shay will take care of it with June. Shay's cleaning up and dressing and I'm driving George and her home. We're not hanging around. They gave me a check. I'll turn it in on Monday.
