Not sure if anyone has missed me on here but my schedule as of lately simply didn't allow me to be active as much and this will probably stay the same for a while, however I am in touch with @WinJStar regularly anyways Even this blog entry is done 90 minutes before the next day at a tournament coverage and I had 3 tournament coverages in the last 3 weeks (2 of whom i had to travel to).

Right now I am at Prague for the WPT and EPT, on the 11th I already have to fly to Belgium for the Final of the Belgium Poker series and this marks another 3 tournament coverages in 18 consecutive days. But why the title? On first sight it might be kinda strange, but there are a few things to consider.

When I posted about my (part time) work on my own forum and on social platforms, people said they were jealous of the opportunity and the travel. Well, it is not that you get to see all the famous places but rather airport, hotel and casino ... u also get a day off but usually the schedule is pretty tight. 12-14 hours work per day for a week in a row are nothing special ... don't get me wrong, I love that part of my job and I think I am not bad at it either. But there are so many more aspects that people don't consider, it makes you wanna bang the head on the desk.

For some it is a dream job, for me it is the perfect combination of hobby and job, I can do things that I enjoy and also fully embrace. That being said better get my full time job done now and prepare stuff for Day 3 at the WPT Prague.

Best of luck to all on and off the felt. I will "enjoy" my 18 days in a row full of work

I can't wait to se you next month in London! I can totally relate. 12 hour flight. Get to airport 2 hours early coming and going. 28 hours of travel. Going for 3 days.

I could never travel around the world and not see the light of day.

Anyway, I miss you on here. Its so nice to have people on a poker forum talking poker! Novel concept (Not that everyone isn't appreciated.)
